So Peaceful

This is a hidden gem in Cornwall.Very Clean, Tidy and well run. Plenty of spaces betwen pitches and importantly 16 amp electrics. Have been following the birth of ducklings on one of the three lovely ponds. Excellent

A very pleasant place to stay.

My wife and I just had three peaceful nights here and can recommend it highly. The welcome was very friendly and helpful and the site was clean and well looked after. Will certainly use this site again.

peaceful with nice walks for the dog.

Easy site to pitch hard ground. Needed ramps but always do. Walked down thru field to old fish ponds. A lot of flies but that's why the wildlife love it. Heard but never saw the kingfisher. Will be back. Nice stopover on way into cornwall

We returned..

We were here in April, brought our bikes this time. Most enjoyable, even saw local farmer 'Fred' flying his ex US wartime spotter plane from the nearby field. ...and yes we will be back for more. Thank you.

Return a must do

A chance find a few years ago on my way to Padstow. looking for a rest from the travel from the midlands this beautiful CL site has stayed in our minds. On returning to Padstow for the 4th time we always stay at this site because of its tranquility. One day we plan to stay for a full week and enjoy the area fully.  Looking forward to walking the dog, listening to the sheep and wandering around the area.

Keep this one a secret!

Only stayed the one night this week. Lovely spot. Everything a CL should be. Very friendly and helpful - would have stayed longer, but we will return. Only down side - long walk to the pub - must make sure we have our bikes next time! Thanks to owners.

A CL to try.

We stayed here to visit the National Trust property’s of Cotehel 3 miles away, Antony 7 miles away and Buckland Abbey 7 miles away. A wonderful peaceful basic site with lovely views to relax in. The owners are very friendly and easy going. Highly recommended if you don’t mind basic. We will return.

Typical quiet CL but close to Plymouth

The site owners Mr and Mrs Lucas are so friendly and helpful, the site although adjacent to a road is quiet, with great views. Their pricing is resonable and not like some CL's, which are charging similar rates to commercial sites with amenities. There are woods and some small lakes to explore adjacent to the site. Plymouth is only a short journey and has 2 good theatres, we have used Ashdon Farm as a base to visit the theatre. The site itself is central for visits to the moors, and trips to both Devon and Cornwall. If out of town shopping is your fix, Trago Mills is only a few miles down the road. Overall a very good site.
