Good

This site is very good as the pitches are very big and level the views over the bay are excellent and the dog area excellent but nowhere else to walk him unless we went in the car down a long steep hill.Very close to New Quay and Aberystwyth for days out.As mentioned before a slight breeze at the bottom of the hill turns in to a wind on the site but overall a good site

Amazing sunsets over Cardigan Bay

A very open site, which was fine while we were there, but if winds were strong you'd be very exposed. Pitches a good size and all with views across the bay and towards Lynn Peninsular. Very peaceful and the workshop makes no noise and isn't at all intrusive (In the future a hedge around the fence would even hide it). Lovely views if you want to sit and relax. Good fish and Chips in the village. Expect Cod or Cod though. Great value and lovely batter. Also went to the pub. 3 Courses came in at £43. I had curry which came with rice, salad and peas and carrots !!! Weird I thought. The curry was good though. A local told us all meals get the salad and peas and carrots ! Very friendly for our dogs too - which is often not the case. The only downside for us is that there is nowhere to go without getting the car out. I have a mobility scooter and need tracks and trails. the lane up is narrow and too dangerous for me to use. Walking there are probably paths. The dogs had lovely long run in a fully fenced field. The sunset were absolutely amazing on a couple of nights. We did Elan Valley which was an hours drive away to the very top at Devils Bridge. The railway from there to Aberystwyth is stunning. There's a nice old fashioned cafe and walks to the falls at Devils Bridge. We found a 6 mile traffic free trail called Ystwyth Trail. Parking at LLanilar. 2 miles one direction and 4 the other. Lots of lanes on other parts. Marked the welcome down one star because we didn't see the owners or even get a call from them for the whole 5 nights.

Superb site.

This is a beautiful site, the views across Cardigan Bay are just amazing! If you want peace and tranquility and a pristine site, this is definitely the one to go for. Richard is such a friendly man, on hand if you need him. If you have dogs, there is a huge fully enclosed dog exercise field, so your four legged pal can have plenty of safe free running. Immaculate waste disposal point and easy access to water. With EHU to each generously sized pitch at £25 per night it is definitely a site we would return to.

A great little find

Called for just the one night 19/4/23 to discover a great little site with tremendous views and just off the main route for touring the West coast of Wales. Quiet and peaceful, will look to call back on the way home.

Peaceful

A very quiet site with great views. The pitches are level hard-standings with ehu, there’s a water tap, an elsan point, bins and a field to let the dogs run in, no drive-over grey waste point though. It’s up quite a steep hill from the coast so we were glad that we’d brought electric bikes! It was super-easy to book using their website.

Simply the Best

A fantastic CL ,with stunning views. You arrive to the perfect welcome from Richard and Vicky who are a goldmine of local information and will readily share it with you pointing you to some fantastic quite beaches and places to eat. The site is kept spotlessly clean and with some works happening in the future ie possible toilets and extra water points this is one CL to watch We would highly recommend this site to friends and family Big bonus they are very dog friendly Our dog Loved staying here

Peaceful site with great views

Stayed here for 12 nights, booked at short notice very easy to do through their website. Access is very good, if coming from the south it is the first right as you get into Llanon, at the bus stops. The views from the site are spectacular across Cardigan Bay toward the Lleyn Peninsula and Bardsey Island and around to Snowdonia, and the birds making use of the pond in the dog walking field. A very peaceful site giving a good base to explore the area. Richard was helpful and informative as to places to visit. We will be returning.

What a find.

Booked there at short notice and we were surprised that we were able to get in. Found out it was their first season. What a find! Beautiful views of Cardigan Bay, the mountains (inc Snowdon) and countryside. Great dog walk field with wildlife pond attracting dragonflies, swallows, martins and herons. There are also Red Kites in the area which are amazing to watch. Availability and booking was made easy through their website. Richard very friendly and helpful. A site we will definitely visit again. Simon and Jane B.
