Amazing sunsets over Cardigan Bay

A very open site, which was fine while we were there, but if winds were strong you'd be very exposed. Pitches a good size and all with views across the bay and towards Lynn Peninsular. Very peaceful and the workshop makes no noise and isn't at all intrusive (In the future a hedge around the fence would even hide it). Lovely views if you want to sit and relax. Good fish and Chips in the village. Expect Cod or Cod though. Great value and lovely batter. Also went to the pub. 3 Courses came in at £43. I had curry which came with rice, salad and peas and carrots !!! Weird I thought. The curry was good though. A local told us all meals get the salad and peas and carrots ! Very friendly for our dogs too - which is often not the case. The only downside for us is that there is nowhere to go without getting the car out. I have a mobility scooter and need tracks and trails. the lane up is narrow and too dangerous for me to use. Walking there are probably paths. The dogs had lovely long run in a fully fenced field. The sunset were absolutely amazing on a couple of nights. We did Elan Valley which was an hours drive away to the very top at Devils Bridge. The railway from there to Aberystwyth is stunning. There's a nice old fashioned cafe and walks to the falls at Devils Bridge. We found a 6 mile traffic free trail called Ystwyth Trail. Parking at LLanilar. 2 miles one direction and 4 the other. Lots of lanes on other parts. Marked the welcome down one star because we didn't see the owners or even get a call from them for the whole 5 nights.
