A few days spent in the West Sussex Countryside

We have been coming to stay at this perfect CL for a number of years now. At all times of the year, be it Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, and in all weathers. The beauty of this CL is the flexibility of the type of pitch available throughout the twelve months, the lovingly tended gardens, and the owners themselves. We recently stayed here in mid-March 2022 not long after Storm Franklin "breezed" through. The gardens showed no sign of any damage, Robin had taken care of that, but we were told that the grassed areas were too soft and we would be on a hardstanding. No problem. I understand that mid-March could still be too soft for caravans and cars. The grassed areas are by no means "bowling green" turf but they are more or less pretty level, nice and green and show no signs or rutting or mis-management. 2.5 acres for a CL for 5 units? You can almost hide yourself away in a corner if you so wished. You can position your unit at any angle on the grass the pitches are that generous in size, so different from the Clubs Sites. Anne and Robin have had their CL open for over 40 years. they know how to properly run a CL. Its an extension of their private garden. I`ve not given the "game away" about this CL. They have Club Members who have been visiting for many, many years. Its a beautiful CL.
