A gem of a site with lovely owners

We spent 2 nights at Black Barn. We loved it from the moment we parked up in our motorhome. Small and friendly. Access to water, grey waste and chemical toilet was very straightforward. Mollie and Richard are super friendly hosts. Being easy walking distance into Framlingham is a real plus, and the reason we booked the site. Dog walking was good - just a quick hop over the road. There is an information point which contains lots of good information about Framlingham, walks and the local area. Fully recommend the site.

What a fabulous site.

Mollie and Richard were so friendly and welcoming. Delicious pizza on Tue Friday night in a beautiful location with superb sunset views. Facilities clean, tidy and well looked after. Had a great day in Framlingham and then another day on the Suffolk coast walking from Dunwich to Walberswick. Can recommend the Station pub in Framlingham. Mollies communication was excellent ahead of the stay. It had rained for the week ahead of our visit and she still found away to get us safely on and off the grass pitch. Will be back.

Great stay

We stayed for 4 nights. Mollie was very friendly and chatty. Great access for Framlingham. Plenty to see in this lovely little market town. As Detectorist's fans we had a day in Framingham and at the castle. 20 minutes or so to the coast. We weren't there for Friday night pizza night. Great for dogs. Great for cycling.

A little gem of a site

Lovely little site on the edge of Framlingham. A warm welcome from Mollie and delicious pizza on Friday night. The town, castle and mere were delightful and just a short walk from the site. We were disappointed with the lack of buses in the area but unfortunately this is a sign of the times. There are plenty of quiet lanes in the area for cyclists. Birdie

A real gem

We stayed on the site for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The booking process was easy, the communication first class and the information spot on. The site itself is easy to access and very well kept. The pitches are large and surrounded by wild flowers. A walk into Framlingham was no problem and I can recommend the local chippy (Ed Sheeran is also a fan!) I would also recommend Mollie & Richard's pizzas. They were fabulous. We will definitely stay again as it is an ideal location for exploring both the rural and coastal areas of East Anglia.

Perfect site

We stayed at Black Barn recently for the second time. We absolutely love this little site. Perfectly placed to walk into the lovely market town of Framlingham, with it's castle and good selection of shops plus a great market on a Saturday. The site is easily accessed from the main road and is well maintained with large pitches surrounded by wild flower meadow. Owner Mollie is welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to be there for pizza night during our stay this time and we thoroughly recommend it, whether you eat at your own pitch or sit round at the outdoor tables. It's great for wildlife watching too. We look forward to returning next year.

Fab site

Lovely little site and lovely owner too. Very friendly. Just had 3 nights here and we both would of happily stayed longer. Booked the pizza for Friday night and we both agreed it was the best! We had a lovely evening in the garden celebrating our wedding anniversary, couldn't of wished for a nicer evening. A nice easy walk into the town with it's superb selection of unique shops dotted about. We will definitely return :-)

Highly recommended!

Stayed here for two nights in August as we had a local family event in Framlingham. I cocked up the booking date but Mollie was very helpful and smoothed over the mistake. Although near to the road, and of course Framlingham itself, the site is very quiet. We felt very well rested afterwards. The town is interesting and the Castle worth a visit, especially if you are a member of English Heritage, with plenty of adequate parking at the Castle - a short walk into town. The Friday night Pizza event is excellent. The pizzas Rick produces are to die for - highly recommended! We will return.
