We booked this site for 3 nights and on arrival we could not fill the water tank of our motorhome. The only tap available did not have any fittings to take a hose as it was just an old fashioned brass tap. Also, this tap was situated in between two pitches which if occupied would have made it impossible to obtain water from this tap. The only other tap on site had been snapped off and not repaired so was unusable. We went to the farmhouse and spoke to the owner who seemed confused and said there has never been a problem before. We have since read reviews about this site (not CAMC reviews) and this problem has been mentioned previously. A worker from the farm came to the site and said there was nothing that could be done and we should find another site. We were very disappointed as we had specifically booked this site for the location to the Monsal Trail and the stunning views! We were extremely lucky to find another site nearby that had availability (although for only 2 nights and not 3). We really hope that this problem is soon rectified as currently it is unsuitable for motorhomes and it should state this on the CAMC web page.
