Ease of arrival/welcome

Great for an Anglesey coastal walking base.

Just my type of cl. Very natural (site and owners, who are very easy going but respectful of your peace and privacy) and central to all of the walking (anywhere on Anglesey no more than 30 minutes by car). The site is big enough for 5 caravans, but when boggy would feel a little tight when full, as all units would need to site on the one field side. Not a problem in low season (in fact I had the field largely to myself). The swallows in the field swooping within inches if you are a joy in season, as is the beautiful young horse currently resident in the field behind. It must be borne in mind that this site has three commercial log cabins looking into the caravanning field, and so if looking for complete peace during the school holidays or during good weather weekends, it may not be everyone's bag. I myself like my tranquility, although did not see a family celebration weekend (the log cabins inhabited for a big family/children get together) as overly intrusive & the site still held a great deal of appeal for me. There is just one basic toilet/shower room, which might mean quite a wait in the mornings when full, although the shower was lovely and warm, could be taken for as long as wanted and without the usual coin meter. Anglesey is certainly one of the most beautiful parts of the uk, and the coastal walking (I walked all of it) is breathtaking. This site was absolutely perfectly positioned for that.. All in all, I felt the nightly fee at £15 fairly reasonable and will definitely be returning low season again.
