So glad we managed to get here

HOORAY, GOT HERE AT LAST. After the disappointment of lockdown, we eventually managed to get to this gem of a CL. Yes, it's fairly basic - just two toilets, a wash basin and electric hookup but if you are going to the Isle of Wight don't overlook this CL. It's very peaceful, the views are fantastic, the owners are brilliant and their dogs are so friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved our stay. Thankyou Yasmin and Sean for having us - it was absolutely wonderful.

Review by Rae Winfiled who posted this on FB page . Fantastic place to stay. Loads of space. Only a few miles to shops and beaches but feels like your million miles away. So beautiful and peaceful. We booked for 2 nights but extended for another 9 nights we love it here so much. One afternoon the ice cream van came.. How cool is that! We were asked by Yasmin's daughter "what could we do to improve“. Honest we love it just the way it is 😊

Enjoyed 3 marvellous weeks at this quiet and peaceful site with superb views over surrounding country side. Owners Yasmin and Sean made us very welcome. Will certainly be back. Thank you Wendy & Peter.

Balmy Borthwood.

Had a marvellous 3 weeks here. Sean & Yasmin have the ideal site for peace & quiet. They are very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you. Richard & Helen

The site itself was idyllic, clean and dog friendly! we were very sad to leave and will definitely be returning. Highly Recommend.

Enjoyed two peaceful weeks here, lovely site, well cared for and owner really friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

First time on a CL on the I of W

What a lovely peaceful site this turned out to be.The owners are very friendly and are there to greet you on arrival and show you where to pitch. The views from different areas of the site were stunning. We were there for 3 weeks and came away feeling very relaxed and stress free. Local pubs served lovely meals including 'small bites' for those who could not manage full portions. The site was well maintained, which included 2 very well kept and clean toilets. Highland cattle grazed in the field along side which made for comical watching first thing in the mornings when feeding with the young calves along side. For only £12 a night you certainly get value for money. Would we go back again? Yes we would, and intend to do so next year.

Stunning View

A great CL. We had pitch 6 which has a magnificent view down over Sandown and Culver Point. Close to Lake where there is a Morrisons and Aldi and only a mile to The Pointer pub which is excellent. We will be back :-)
