A Review from a Hill

I suggest that others considering visiting this wonderful CL completely ignore the ridiculous review before this one. It makes absolutely no sense at all. Bowhill Farm is a gem. Bowhill because it's barely a mile or two from Europe's largest remaining yew forest, a wood from which many long bows were made centuries ago. It's in the middle of The Octagon Parish in which there are the most astonishingly primitive and beautiful early churches to visit. The view from the hill is right over to the sea and Portsmouth shines like a fantasy city on the night skyline. There is no shortage of excellent pubs, many within easy walking distance and if you fancy a walk around an historic town, then glorious Chichester is on your doorstep with it's intact city walls and astonishing Cathedral. And at the end of the day, if you ever left, retreating back to the hill is a complete delight where the only sound is birdsong.
