Disappointed

+ve availability at short notice rural location £7pn -ve - Poorly signposted - Directed to park under trees at side of a popular walk on a muddy, rutted track -Cars and people walking/driving with in feet of pitch -Facilities to empty cassette and dispose of rubbish too far to walk to - View over looking a ploughed field at one side and piles of felled timber on the other I would not recommend this site nor would I return

Unusual CL

Stayed for 2 nights while we explored the area. Site location was not as good as we had expected as it was by the side of a road on the estate that had a lot of traffic from locals and fishermen, hence it did not feel very private and it was  not quiet during daylight hours

lovely site

I tried this site as I wanted to test how long the battery on our caravan would last. we booked in for 4 days and ended up staying for 9 on a tour of Scotland. we loved it and wished there were more with out hook up. I think the owner said the estate is 3000 acres so there is plenty of walks. it can be a bit busy at times when fisher men go past down to the river but a lot of the time it was ok. toilet empty point was opposite the estate office which is about 500 metres away which is the only downside. you can drive to it with a car but I use to take a leisurely stroll and have seen baby deer so it was worth it. great site with loads of walks and view and would recommend to anyone. Tesco a couple of miles down the road.

peaceful

We love this c.l for it's peace & quiet; improved with a water tap by the entrance to site ( at the side of the drive) although emptying point remains further away. Some traffic noise as the fishermen head to the river & return. Overall a wonderful c.l with miles of walks around the Estate & handy shopping in Dingwall. Easy access to Inverness
