This spacious site is on the very edge of Knodishall village so has the advantages of both a town and the countryside. The pitches are well spaced with double socket posts of 16 amp rating. The potable water position is currently at the house but the owner is planning to extend this into the field. Dry and liquid disposal is also at the house. The site borders a wood with numerous woodland pathways leading to countryside pathways and larger bridleways, such as the Sandlings Route. Within walking distance is a village shop and a pub, the Butcher's Arms. Even closer is an excellent pub in the next village, yes a short walk through the woods and you are in the next village, Aldringham. This is a very old pub, originally frequented by smugglers, with the bizarre name of the Parrot & Punchbowl. A wall plaque describes describes the origin of the name. Within a short drive is the iconic Aldeburgh or Snape with its famous maltings and craft shops. The site is at the very end of a village road and therefore has no passing traffic or pedestrians, giving a very quiet and secure site. Access for larger caravans or motorhomes is good, though the approach road can get busy at school run times. Route to the site from the South is on the website, from the North turn off the A12 at Yoxford on the B1122, and pass through Leiston to Knodishall. Turn left just after the Butcher's Arms.
