We rang at last minute to book a spot and were made to feel welcome from the phone call until after we arrived. The CL reminded me of a small campsite, with better services that some - with separate pitches all with electricity and running water (yes, at each pitch, which was extremely handy). There is a toilet and shower for use, which was very clean. I would recommend this site to everybody - but please don't be put off by the tiny road you have to drive down - it really is the correct way!  (and also ensures it's a very lovely, quiet place to be!). We were only on a stopover, so didn't really look around the area, but is very close to Cruden Bay.
