Beautiful and peaceful CL

Just returned from our second stay at this gorgeous CL. As before the standard is high. Sally and Neville are so very welcoming and hard working. The outlook over the fields and the animals is relaxing and peaceful. The facilities are excellent too. A good area to explore from and good walking from the site. Lovely 😊

The Best of the CL's.....

Fabulous CL, perfect location for access to Breckland and beyond. My cycling pals and I have just got back from this fantastic CL. We choose CL's for their location, price and ease of booking as we centre the motorhome and cycle out for the day. Sally & Neville both made us all welcome for the Coronation weekend, where the site was full. My pals and I went out into Breckland cycling for the day, one day to Holt and back the other out towards Dereham. We have another route planned to Wells so we'll be booking here again. The site is well kept, the Toilets and the showers are first class, recycling and bins along with Grey and loo waste are well located and signed which is something the main club sites could learn from. All the pitches have taps for drinking water plus the EHU of course. A fridge/Freezer is also available for use if required and eggs are available to purchase too Wonderful views all around and a beautiful church right next to the site and plenty of footpaths for walkers. The Brisley Bell pub is fabulous too, we didn't eat there as it was fully booked but we will book in advance before our next visit here. This CL does the club and the owner proud, we will be back.... if more CL's get to be like this then club sites become a thing of the past

WHAT A TREAT

Just had eight nights at this wonderful CL. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Sally and Neville,. The pitches are lovely and flat and the facilities absolutely excellent. Water and electricity to every pitch made life much easier. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Having used the CL network for over thirty years, I have to say that this is well amongst the best. Shower block, toilets, fridge and freezer to use - and wonderful fresh eggs from their free range hens. Thoroughly recommend for anyone travelling to the area. Thank you. Artie Wray, North Yorkshire

The best CL if you want peace and quiet.

We have just had a lovely 3 day break at Big Sky. The hosts Sally and Neville are fantastic. If you are looking for peace and quiet, lots of public footpaths to walk and a local pub providing excellent food and service then Big Sky is for you. We really want to keep this to ourselves but that wouldn’t be fair to the hosts. We will return soon.

What a Find

Fantastic hosts. Fantastic site. We loved the views, there was everything we needed on site. The dog walking was excellent and even more public footpaths in the village. The Brisley Bell was lovely and friendly and food excellent. Also plenty of biking. We have had 4 days of sunshine on one of the best cls we have visited. Sally and Neville made us feel so very welcome. We will definitely return.

What a lovely CL!

We spent a week here in September. We’ve been caravaning for many years and this is one of the nicest CLs we have stayed on. Huge credit to Sally and Neville for creating such a perfect site. The pristine modern shower and toilet really are the icing on the cake. It was lovely to be able to buy fresh eggs. We agree entirely with all the positive comments made by other reviewers. We enjoyed meeting Sally and Neville who were so welcoming and helpful.

Relaxing October Break

We spent a lovely, relaxing long weekend at this stunning site earlier this month. I'm usually wary of grass pitches outside of the main summer season, but even after several hours of heavy rain early on our final morning there wasn't a spot of mud to be seen, the ground was so free-draining. Although the site is in the centre of the village, the pitches are sheltered by the church to one side and the barn containing the facilities on another, making them very peaceful. The sunsets are every bit as spectacular as the photos suggest. Communication was faultless, from our original e-mail booking to the helpful information sheets Sally sent us, the warm welcome on arrival and Neville's daily visits on his bicycle to check that all was well. We even received an e-mail from Sally when we got home, apologising for not being there to say goodbye when we left. As other reviewers have already mentioned, there is plenty to do in the local area. Road access is good and the local footpaths are excellent. We need to go back with our bikes & try the local cycle routes too!

Wonderful place, fabulous owners

Brisley CL is in a very lovely small village, with the Brisley Bell pub within walking distance. There’s a fabulous footpath around the site, which is perfect for walking the dog or just to get a bit of exercise and fresh air. The gates are kept closed, which feels very secure. The owners are so friendly, accommodating and welcoming, without being at all imposing. The barn at the beginning of the site gives it a secure, private feel, while housing a WC, which is separate to the large shower room, with a free to use shower, the shower room also has a washer (£2 honesty box charge per use) there is also a large sink unit in there. Recycling and waste bins are closeby, as is the Elsan emptying point, both are fenced off to look more appealing All facilities were kept spotlessly clean during our stay. Grass is cut and taken away regularly. Lovely spacious pitches all overlooking fields. The night sky is amazing here as there’s no light pollution, a torch is recommended for going out at night. The site is a really good base for exploring the surrounding area, we visited Holkham hall and beach, Sheringham Park, Oxburgh Hall, Cromer, Blicking Hall, Sandringham is also within easy reach, we’ll definitely be back soon! :-)

The friendliest hosts on a CL site

We stayed at Brisley Hall Farm a few weeks ago for 5 nights. One of the most outstanding aspect of the site is its owners, Neville and Sally. They are the friendliest and most attentive hosts we have had the pleasure of meeting in any CL site we have stayed in during the last 4 years. Nothing was too much trouble if anything needed or asked for and a welcome visit from them each day to ask all was well, without being intrusive. The site has a very clean toilet and roomy separate shower. A washing machine in this room if required. There is a fridge/freezer for use too. Free range eggs for sale and a couple of boards with information on the area. There are many footpaths from the site and surrounding areas and a very good area for cycling on mainly traffic free lanes. The commons are fantastic for walking on too, which are very safe and quiet. The Brisley Bell Pub at one end of the village, with a lovely ambience, and just along the road the other end of village is The Old Dairy, serving delicious homemade food and coffee/tea etc, and where homemade jams, marmalades and mustard can be purchased. Brisley is an ideal base for visiting other parts of Norfolk, with the coast not too far away and Norwich easily accessible. A few National Trust Properties too. A CL site to be fully recommended. Thank you, Neville and Sally, for a lovely stay. We'll be back.

A premier CL

This top notch CL is located in a section of Norfolk that is delightful. The owners are welcoming and friendly and work really hard to maintain high standards. Walks off the site are available and the village pub The Brisley Bell is excellent and award winning. We have images here https://www.behance.net/gallery/148941493/Brisley-North-Norfolk should you want to look further (copy and cut and paste into a browser). These are just a members photos and not a business. There are a number of great reviews already for this site and we agree with the content , high standards , friendliness and a good location. One of the best CL's we have been on.
