This was our second visit to this beautiful and secluded CL set in the north of the Forest of Dean. The village of Newland in which this site is located has at its heart a wonderful Church which is known as the Cathedral of The Forest and well is worth a visit. The Ostrich pub located opposite the church is a classic old village pub which serves good food and beer. The site set in a small valley has generous pitches set in a field of wild flowers with intricately mown pathways through the beautiful meadow leading you to the picnic area and babbling brook. The owners are helpful and friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Would recommend for a restful and peaceful break in a stunning location.
