We travelled to Lancashire originally to stay 1 week and hopefully see the otters at Leighton Moss. As it turned out we saw the otters fairly regularly and decided to stay a further week. Mr Oldfield who owns the CL is superb. He welcomes all guests with a present of 6 new laid eggs and is a fountain of knowledge. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Indeed on one evening knowing that my wife wanted to photograph the deer coming out of Leighton Moss, which his CL backs onto he came round and picked her up in his Landrover and took her round the estate to show her were the deer are and obtain her photos.
