Beautiful Sunsets At A Well Kept Site

Visited in July and was delighted to find a well kept site with beautiful sunsets, a warm welcome from Ray on arrival, nice little orchard for the dog to stroll around if you don’t want to take it off site. Lovely surrounding areas including beautiful beaches & walking to Newborough forest. Highly recommend, including the treats that Julie makes😋

A lovely peaceful stay at this well maintained CL

I've just returned home after 5 nights at this wonderful CL. Julie and Ray welcomed me when I arrived and Ray looked after my 2 dogs whilst I set up! This site is very well placed for exploring the whole of Anglesey and there is a nature reserve and a beach very close by. There are several very good dog walks about a 5 minute drive away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bryn Aber and wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be returning.

Great little find ...

I am so pleased to have found this site and am almost loathe to leave a review so that I can keep it all to myself! However, Julie and Ray have created a wonderful haven of beauty and tranquility and thoroughly deserve to be busy. The site is very tidy, extremely well thought out and just delightful. The grass was freshly mown with individual pitch areas indicated by a shorter cut boundary and the pitches are mostly level, although ramps were needed. Water and electric on every one too, so dont forget your mains water kit. Julie and Ray were incredibly welcoming and there really were freshly baked goods and other homemade crafts available in the information hut everyday. There are a few sheep and cows in neighbouring fields that add to the joy of the site.

Beautifully presented site

What a superb find. We just spent 5 nights there as a short break. The site is exceptionally well maintained and Julie and Ray take great pride in looking after it. Julie bakes each day and there’s are cakes in the hut at a very reasonable price ( as well as jams and chutneys ). We got pitch number 1 so had the pleasant view of new born All pitches are huge. A great welcome from Julie and Ray ....

Fabulous!

Stayed here for 4 nights, would have stayed longer but already booked elsewhere. Wonderful site and owners, peaceful, spotlessly clean, very large pitches well marked out, enjoyed watching the lambs, cattle, rabbits and a visiting cat, lovely sunsets. Easy walk to the village, can recommend the chippy. Fabulous walk following Ray’s directions to the beach through the forest, then walk as long as you like, our dogs loved it! Highly recommended if you like peace and quiet and lovely surroundings.

Perfect CL site

A peaceful, clean and spacious site with friendly hosts who are helpful and accommodating. Sunsets from the van were stunning. We arrived for six nights and stayed for 14! There are sheep and bullocks on three sides which could be a distraction for some dogs though they are well-fenced. Julie took trouble to introduce our young granddaughter to the chickens which went down well too. There are lovely walks and cycle routes from close to the site, and Julie's cakes from the shed were welcomed when we returned to our base at the end of the day. Newborough village has a small but well-stocked corner shop, and Newborough beach is a favourite destination. This is a good base from which to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia.

GEM OF A SITE

We have just had an amazing stay at this site. We initially booked for 14 nights but stayed an extra 2 nights. Julie and Ray met us as we arrived and gave us a very warm welcome, telling us we had a choice of pitches and where we could find everything. They were always there if you needed them, happy to have a chat, they definitely went the extra mile. The pitches are very spacious, well kept with short grass and marked out and you could have your van anyway to suit. Julie had her 'leaning shed' which had eggs, lovely cakes, jams, chutney and little gifts, for which you just put the money in an honesty box. Our dog Madi had a great time, plenty of walks from the site and more forest walks and walks along the estuary, just a short drive away. When we left Julie and Ray were there to say goodbye and wish us a safe journey. They are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely go again.

Beautiful,quiet and relaxing CL site.

Stayed here 1/15th August with family and an amazing well behaved little dog. When we arrived Ray (the owner) came over and introduced himself, informed us of where the utility’s could be found and lots of useful information about the location and site. Very friendly and welcoming, you don’t get that kind of personal greeting all the time, we felt settled almost straight away. We could choose our own plot too. It is a working farm, so sheep, cows and hens will make an appearance, which adds to the ambience of the place. Also there is an Orchard for walking the dog and where they are secure, great added bonus. Lovely fruit trees planted and a bench to sit on and take time out. For the most part it was Lovely to see dogs on leads or on extension leads outside caravans, We met julie, Rays and she was equally as friendly and informative as Ray. The farm is idyllic and a beautiful place to relax. If you like walking then the location is perfect for that too! You can walk through beautiful woodlands to the beach or take the car and park. We found it a perfect base to do the things we wanted to do. The weather was hit and miss, so we made the most of the good days. The site is run efficiently, it is spotlessly clean, well organised and there are plenty of signs to guide you to facilitates. Was particularly pleased to see separate bins for recycling. Julie and Ray go that extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The ‘Aladdins cave’ disguised as a shed in the corner filled with hidden surprises, Oh dear! Lemon and coffee cake, cookies, flapjacks and an array of fresh from the hens eggs, fruit jams and delicious scones, couldn't resist buying more cookies to take home with us Also lovely personal homemade craftwork on sale, I bought a really nice plaque ‘Living the dream’ and why not it was the perfect place to do it. Pinched some of your brilliant ideas.😊A little village a short walk away for amenities, general store and a fish and chip shop. We love peace and quiet that is why we choose the CL sites for that reason, no overcrowding. Thank you Julie and Ray for being the perfect hosts, for the little chats and also taking the time to say goodbye and reimburse some money when our family members had to go home early. Hope to see you again sometime. Stay safe and well,

Christine Palmer/Russell, Raoul, Michelle, Colin, Alastair and Buddie the dog.

A very special place

We had a lovely few days here at Bryn Aber. Julie and Ray are very welcoming and the whole site is kept beautifully. There is an enclosed dog area in the Orchard which we found very useful. The Lovely Leaning shed is full of souvenirs and gifts and beautiful homemade cakes, scones, jams and chutneys. The site benefits from fantastic views and lovely sunsets weather permitting. We enjoyed being able to see the cows, sheep and hens in the adjoining fields. We will certainly be returning to Bryn Aber as soon as we can. James & Ann Day & Alfie, woof woof 🐶
