Great place close to local amenities

Small site nice well kept grass pitches very clean and tidy has a small-holding feel to it we were out most days so didn't get chance to chat much but the little contact we did have was very pleasant. Water was within easy reach nice recycling area and the elsan point was very easy to use near to this was the small leaning shed with some nice bits and pieces for sale including eggs cakes etc. Television reception was good which was good as me and my son were keeping up with the euro's. Internet i have my own router was ok if a little slow but usable. I think the only issue for the site may be the need for a larger sign pointing out the site entrance, other than that would not hesitate to recommend this site very convenient for Newborough Forest Beach and village shops pub etc. PS a good site for any star gazers good skies little light pollution. Thanks Julie and Ray for a very pleasant stay and we will be back. John & Craig

Excellent site

A fantastic site in a peaceful, beautiful location. Julie and Ray are wonderful, helpful hosts, and Julie's cakes, scones, jams and mamalades are sublime. We couldn't stop eating them!! The pitches are very spacious and the facilities - including even the dustbins - were immaculately clean. This was our first CL site and we would highly recommend it. We would definitely return to this site. Thank you Julie and Ray .

What a find!

We were lucky enough to get late availability for the May bank holiday at this new CL and it was a lovely find. Julie and Ray are the friendliest of hosts, there is ample space on this peaceful site with grass pitches and ehu. There's a little shed in the corner where you can buy crafts and home made bakes. The site is fairly close to Newborough beach which is half dog friendly. The beach is situated on the far side of a woodland area so you have the benefit of walks on the sand and in the trees. Our three dogs loved the site and loved the break. Sadly it was to be the last break for our greyhound girl who adored caravanning, I'm so glad she got to spend it at this delightful little site. We will definitely visit again. X

Only a few days.....

Just needed to get away for a couple of days to chill out and recharge the batteries. Bryn Aber is just the site to do this on. Julie and Ray are the perfect hosts very welcoming and always ready to stop the mower and have a chat if you want to. The facilities on the site are as you would expect from a well run CL Fabulous walks direct from the site for as far or as short as you wish to go. Love the Welshcakes by the way Julie, fabulous idea to have them fresh from the tuck shop 😊 We will be back.

Immaculate

Lovely site open views just on the edge of the village of Newborough. Clean, tidy and plenty of space. Close to coast and Llangefni for local store, butchers and fish & chips. Site Eggs good and scones were amazing. Will visit again in the future.

Cracking little site

Fantastic little site, 5 large pitches, water tap, black / grey waste and recycling bins water tap & dog waste bin. Fabulous leaning shed with fresh eggs and cakes for sale, little jars of Jams and chutney, lovely hand made drift wood items & great slate painting, Books you can take for free, there’s a honesty box as well. This site is fantastic if you want a quiet break, the only noise you will hear is birds and cattle + free range chickens, donkeys & a couple of peacocks but they are in the fields at the farm next door. No lighting on site so star gazing will be great on this site as there’s no light pollution. Julie & Ray are a chatty couple who take a interest in you & just don’t take your money then you don’t see them again, Found out Ray was local to where we came from.( small world ) The site is quite new to camping, they have only just put electricity in & have planted sapling around the field, so in a few years a lovely boarder of bushes and the trees in the orchard will be giving fruit. The village is waking distance, the roads are very empty. Saw a Pub, chippy, off-licence. Staying for 3 nights in pitch 1 next to the cattle fields (15 cows) and just sat a watched a cow give birth not more than 20 feet away, to see on Tv is just ok, but to sit in a field and watch it live is just amazing. The beach & forest are about 10 mins away by car, but in Anglesey nothing is that far away Everything about this site is just PERFIC ( as Pa Larkin would say ) Will definitely be back, very soon.

Great hosts

We've just had our very first trip. This was one of 4 CLs that we stayed at and was without a doubt the best. We were greeted by a smiley Julie who showed us around and gave us some local info. The site was picturesque with a great view of the countryside. Julie even has a place from which she sells some local produce. Short walk to local shops, chippy and pub and short drive to Newborough beach and Llanwyn Island which are stunning. Thank you Julie & Ray.
