What a wonderful hidden gem of a CL.

We stayed for week in June this year. Great site with water and electric at each pitch. Bit sloping so you will need levelling blocks. Do follow the directions in the Club Book though. We approached from the opposite direction as we had been somewhere else on route, you can't turn in from that direction. Luckily we were able to find a large field gateway to back into and turn about a half a mile down the road. With a gate from the site directly out onto the Preseli Mountains the dog loved it. Fabulous walks and views. Lots to see and do in the area. We found a fam shop in the mountains that made and sold their own cheeses. Very basic shop but we were encouraged to try all of the cheeses they made. Beautiful flavours. We bought some for ourselves and some to bring home to family but that never made it home! The two quarries that the Blue Stones at Stonehenge came from are nearby. One is about a 3 mile walk from the site across the mountains (Carn Goedog) and can be seen from just out the back of the site, you do need to be an experienced hill walker and have the right kit to visit that one and the other is a few miles down the road and is easily accessible at Craig Rhosyfelin. Coast is not far away with great cliff walks and views.
