Ideal site, great owners and close to everything!

A lovely site with great facilities run by lovely people and with loads to do nearby. This place has awards for farming practice and wildlife. The seawall is only a field away. Burnham is full of pubs and eateries, the best for food being the Oyster Smack. You must do the 2 hour Seal and Wildlife trip which leaves from the Town Quay, outside the Anchor. Another option is an a hour or so walking across the fields, which brings you to Southminster which has probabally the best real ale pub that you will find anywhere. They dont do food just great beer and a very warm welcome. We usually come back on the train! The only problem is that getting a pitch can be difficult.but the wait is worth it.
