Stayed at this site August 2014.  Easy access and good directions. 5 grass pitches all with electric hookup. You can pitch where and however you want. Next to trees is more shade. Next to fence more sun. Pitches 1 (near entrance) or 5 (at far end of paddock) are best for those who want more evening sun. At £10 per night for 2 adults 2 children and hookup, there are no hidden extras for awnings,dogs etc, you can't go wrong.  There is a basic but clean shower and a seperate toilet, but this becomes easily blocked. There is loads of information in a mobile home on site with all you need to know in the area. Excellent site for dog walks direct from the site and along the river crouch. Excellent for bird watchers and those interested in wildlife Excellent for cycling from the site where the roads are mostly flat. Excellent for relaxing and doing nothing.  The village of Burnham (15 mins walk from site by river or road) has pubs, tea rooms and restaurants and a market on Tuesdays and is much busier at the weekend. Not for you if you want a "kiss me quick" type holiday or break.  In my opinion not much for kids to do in the nearby area. Whilst this is generally a peaceful and quiet site, depending on which way the wind blows, it is also on the final approach for London Southern airport so you can expect some fairly regular (every  hour or so) aircraft noise.  This is also a working farm so at harvest time in particular there is the usual farm machinery.  This was no problem for us but can be for others.  A clear sky at night is great for star gazers. My only criticism is that the paddock grass could have been shorter where the vans were pitched.  During our stay it was not cut and seemed to grow steadily each day mosquitoes being a particular problem in the evening.
