I would go back

Approached the site from Stroud towing a caravan. Steep narrow road from Stroud onto the Common (due to parked cars on both side) but luckily not too busy and the Pathfinder didn't struggle. Had to dodge cattle crossing the Common road. Access to the site was fine. Gate secured at night about 2130hrs as location is also a stables. Pitches are all flat. We were parked on the opposite side of the field to the electrics (?) so long lead is required. We had to borrow an extension from the owner. Shower block is excellent. Toilets x3, showers x 2(very powerful). Kept very clean with always two toilet rolls, handwash and hand towels changed daily. My only criticism (in a nice way) is the showers could do with a curtain to keep the area for changing dry, especially if you splash around in the shower like me. Excellent for dogs with access to the fields next to the pitch or over the fields onto the Common. For golfers there is a testing course located on the Common. bet you lose lots of balls, because we found some whilst walking across the Common. A well managed site unfortunately only let down by the cattle grid on the Cirencester Road which groaned every time a vehicle passed, unfortunately outside the control of the site. I would return if in the area.
