Because I like my space when on holiday I spend hours checking out CL's rejecting 1 acre or less and looking on Google Earth, I thought I had found my dream site ( and it was ) , I estimated about 120 - 150 ft between pitches, the site was immaculate , quite , beautiful views and central to a host of things to do , it did get a bit crowded at weekends but did not effect us. Then a family arrived and decided to set up about 45ft from us and not on the proper pitch and sat outside all day facing our van (I know they were only facing the sun  ) but it became a bit intimidating after a while , then to cap it all the owner informed us that another van was coming on our pitch ( she was letting them arrive early ) so with another unit going to be a few feet away we packed up and left a day early. On a good note I did find the toilet on the second day.
