Just got back after a five night stay at Buttercup Meadows in late May. Whilst this is an off-grid site that just provides the water and chem. point etc this really is a lot more than just a field. The site is well organised and maintained with a "chill out area" next to the brook and a dedicated area for dog exercise. All set in some lovely countryside just on the outskirts of the quiet Clipston village.
As usual I've made a short film of the site which can describe it better than I can.

Just one note about the approach we accidentally turned off the A508 one junction early (just before Kelmarsh hall). This brought us through the village of Clipston rather than the longer route that avoids the village. Both are passable with a caravan and the route we took makes the turn into the site easier as we were on the opposite side of the road. It's probably best to follow the recommended route and just make sure you swing wide when turning in but don't panic if you "accidentally" take the prior turning like we did.
Peaceful site
This is a quiet field surrounded by countryside with plenty of room to spread out. Handy dog walk area and short walk to local pub. Warm welcome from the owner.
A lovely and tranquil site
Jane was very welcoming and showed me where everything was, including a lovely place to sit and relax by the small river which was idyllic in the warm afternoon sun after a long journey. The site is very peaceful, and I would definitely come back to stay. Highly recommend.
A beautiful peaceful site
We were welcomed to this lovely site on a beautiful sunny evening. We tracked the owners hot air balloon as it passed overhead and we had a very enjoyable stay. I strongly recommend this site.
