Fantastic

First of all the owners of this beautiful site, Annette and Laurence, are the most welcoming friendly people we have come across at a CL. We were met at the gates and shown to the pitch. We were talked through everything and introduced to the gorgeous resident pony and donkey. We booked this site for a wknd away close to home and couldn't have made a better choice. It's 2 mins from the M6, close to 2 pubs and a 10 min drive from numerous supermarkets. The site is immaculate and so much care and attention is taken to make it so pretty. There are seating areas, flowers, plants, hanging baskets, ponds, a quirky chemical waste point and an excellent dog field. The field was full secure and our dog loved it. The pitch was fully serviced and a few leveling blocks were needed, which are available along with other spares such a steps and ramps. Literally everything has been thought about here and we can't wait to get back in a few weeks.

Next ro busy main road

Very warm welcome and information on local pubs with their menus :) It was a stopover for us late September with ease of access from the M6. Difficult to spot unless you know about the flags - CL sign is wrapped around a telephone pole and difficult to see. Fortunatly we had stopped to let traffic past whist slowly looking just there. next to busy main raod but for those who do not want country lanes it would suit. Traffic noise starts with people going to work in the morning. Site laid out well but note that hard standing is only in the position of one axle (or a double axle caravan). Site 5 the furthest from road is in a dip for the axle and whilst level we wondered if a caravan front would be far off the ground. Water tap at each site, free wi fi. The waste tank disposal was up steps and then the height of a toilet (owners tank is above ground). See first photo which shows on the left a end screen next to the hedge, but and there is no screen at it's front which faces pitch 1 :( . Not keen on this and if infirm may be a problem. Great for a stop over but we would not stay there a long time. We felt that it was at the higher end of CL prices which some sites are now starting to push up when there are still places a lot cheaper.

BRILLIANT CL & Wonderful Owners

This is an amazing site we booked for 2 weeks and ended up staying 28 days - absolutely loved it and Georgia, Ace and Joseph just completed the whole experience - Annette and Laurence absolutely make this CL what it is they are so welcoming and greet everyone who arrives and are a mind of local information - nothing is too much trouble for them, we ran out of gas one night and Laurence immediately helped us and then directed us to the best places for gas (which has been in huge short supply) but given his local knowledge we found gas the next day! The site itself is beautiful all the pitches have their own water and waste supply so the service pitches are a real bonus as is the toilet facilities which are impeccably clean. There are two local pubs one of which is dog friendly. I highly recommend this CL and will definitely be returning - we were luckily enough to see Joseph (Their donkey) arriving and he was in quite a state within 2 weeks he was like a different donkey - again just a testament to the sort of people Annette and Laurence are, on top of that there are free range eggs in supply as well!

What a gem of a CL

Even before we arrived Lawrence texted to advise us which way to come because of delays on M6. On arrival both he and Annette gave a wonderful welcome. The CL is perfect - enhanced pitches, beautiful flowers everywhere, level hard standing which Lawrence helps to pitch caravan on perfectly , beautiful views of rescued donkey, a colt and in the stable a lovely old mare. Solar lights light up the field at night. There are 2 pubs close by serving good food. A real gem. A possible drawback is the busy road during the day but it certainly didn’t bother us and all very quiet at night. We will be back next week.

Very welcoming!

Thank you Lawrence & Annette for a lovely week on your site! So nice to be welcomed with a friendly smile and information on the local area. Serviced pitches are an absolute bonus, not to mention the quirky toilet disposal point, toilet/washroom facilities are available and an exercise area for dogs including jumps and hoops. Our toilet stopped flushing and it was Lawrence to the rescue with wire crimpers - thank you! Flowers all around and a planned seating area and water feature, can’t wait to go back to see how things are progressing. Fresh eggs available from their chickens. Horses Georgie & Ace grazing in the adjacent paddock. Rabbits around and two Jays flying in for their supper from the bird feeders, oh and the squirrel trying desperately to nick the nuts. Altogether lovely! The site is so well located for surrounding areas including the Saxon Market Town of Sandbach, Congleton, Manchester and less than 1 hour to the Peak District. Super friendly site!!

A Great CL Site (with eggs!)

This is a site where the owners - Laurence and Annette, have done their utmost to create a scenic and enjoyable experience for visitors. Communication during booking was perfect, as was the welcome and help from them both. Access to the site from the motorway is super easy, as well. You’ll get to see chickens and horses on site and, if you have a dog, an exercise area including hurdles! Hanging baskets abound. There’s a bit of noise from passing traffic but it’s not a busy road. I really can’t remember, in ten years of travels, being made to feel more welcome. Congrats to you both - we wish you every success and the eggs were lovely. Best wishes.

Wee gem

Great CL Have used this wee gem on 12th April 21 and a few more times since lockdown was lifted. Very spacious level fully serviced pitches, picnic table, chairs and hanging baskets on each pitch too. Absolute bonus of a dog field. My two had a great holiday. My friends visited and booked for the week after. When In arrived. Annett and Laurence met me at the gate. Guided me on to my pitch. Really lovely couple. Always on hand and willing to help out but not intrusive. I was their first customer. Annette and Laurence offered a celebratory glass of fizz to celebrate 🎉🍾🥂. Would be rude not to. The site is situated next to A50, some road noise can be expected. But that really doesn’t affect the ambiance. If sunsets are your thing, you won’t be disappointed here. If travelling up and down the m6 this is an ideal location. 3 min from Jt17, easy access in and out. All in all. 👍🏻. This will be a regular for me and my friends. Wishing you all the best. Thanks from us all.

Great over night stay

Thank you for a warm welcome Laurence and Annette. We stayed overnight on our way to the lakes. Easy access off the M6, lovely level site and couldn’t fault the welcome. The free eggs were much appreciated. There is a main road near the site but didn’t find this an issue during the night. We would definitely book again.

Good stopover

We are on this C/L for a couple of nights while travelling north, it’s easy access less than 2 miles from junction 17 M6 perfect. Laurence and Annette were waiting to greet us with welcome smile, the fresh eggs were lovely, they offered info on the C/L and anything we needed, like shopping and places to visit. The level pitching area’s are good and the ground’s are being levelled. The wild life around this C/L was amazing all the things we like. The only downside was close to A50 a lot of road noise by day & quiet at night, it did not ruin our stay. (we’re ok with traffic as we live on a main road ourselves). Overall a pleasant stay and we will return later this year. :)
