Excellent Site. A real Gem

First may I endorse the previous commenter, I also totally disagree with the two negative reports given by Chris and Dodo. This is a real gem if you want a quiet and picturesque site within easy reach of Stirling and lots of other interesting places. The site is accessed down B roads with plenty of passing points. Their web site clearly states there is another small site attached therefore we made our choice knowing this. Hence the number of pitches. It has16 amp electric and water taps on each pitch. I tow a 5th wheel (8 metres long plus truck) which has 3 slides that come out making it approx 5 metres wide. We had a pitch which was very wide and easy to reverse into. It had a small babbling brook along site with the banks full of bluebells. Behind the pitch was a small hill (old roman fort) with good views of the surrounding countryside, deer in the fields below and a badger set in the side of the hill. There is a small hut which is full of information leaflets, and has bird seed box which you can freely use to fill the bird feeders on the pitches. There is also a washing machine, in thre if you need to wash clothes. The toilet block is in a terraced area and has one ladies, one gents and a shower. All were spotless and we had no problems gaining access during our stay. The chemical disposal is a toilet in an enclosed area with wooden panelling surrounding it. The family owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. We will be visiting this location again, in the future and would not hesitate recommending it to club members. We stayed for 4 nights and would have stayed longer if not already committed to other family activity.
