Ease of arrival/welcome

By a babbling brook!

This site is so easy to find and access and we were made very welcome by Heather and Dominic! The brook attracted many birds some of which I haven't seen for years, living in Suffolk with it's intensive farming. The Three Tuns Brewery pint was the best my husband has ever tasted, and the accompanying Sunday Lunch in the Horseshoes at Bridge was equally delicious. Clun is very picturesque and a friendly man showed us the old forge he has on his property! The Long Mynd is spectacular and we enjoyed walking ther and at Stiperstones. Shrewsbury was a interesting as I had imagined with little allies, nooks and crannies to discover. We thoroughly enjoyed our week on this lovely site and plan to return again. The only downside was that there were 3 dogs in one of the caravans which were allowed to poo at random . Not very nice to see when one is eating one's breakfast. However, Julian picked it up on a shovel and left it where the owners could see it, and they eventually picked it up. This was not the fault of the site owners nor of the dogs, but of the owners.
