Summer Visited

Have returned to this CL after a space of 20+yrs and found it little change from then, thankfully. The large field is relatively flat although the entrance is a bit narrow and care is required if arriving in a large outfit. The 1/2ml approach from the A49 is along lanes with passing places but should offer no problems as the roads are quiet. The is a good pub and cafe just as one turns off the A49 in Leebotwood so within easy walking distance. The site is midway between Ludlow and Shrewsbury for those who need a shopping experience, & there is a Co-op at Church Stretton about 4 mls away. For those interested in walking there are paths from nearby the site, and for the more energetic, both on foot or cycle, The Long Mynd, Caer Carradoc & Lawley hills are close by, with paths & bridleways. Will definitely use again.
