My wife and i stayed here for 3 nights in June and it was so peaceful and friendly - a perfect contrast to the Kings of Leon concert we attended at the Racecourse stadium in Wrecsam on the Sunday night. The pitches are spacious and level and serviced with fresh water and metered electricity - you make a note of the opening and closing readings and put your payment in an envelope when you leave (like an honesty box). Disposal points for toilet and grey water no more than 75m away, whichever pitch you use. Access to the site is secure, with 2 gates, the inner of which is keypad controlled so for those concerned about the van getting stolen, worry not! The scenery in the area is beautiful and the site is well placed for visiting Liverpool/ Wirral or for nipping across to Cheshire (as we did) to visit friends. The Horseshoe Pass isn't far and we chose this direction back to South Wales - so glad we did, the route, and Llangollen in particular was stunning. I can't say enough about the owner, Tony Pearce.
