Definitely worth the stay.
The site is quiet and has lovely views. It’s away from the built up area so star gazing is a must. On a nice clear night the stars are amazing with a great sunset too. There are a few great pubs on the common and the most amazing ice cream factory. A local hit!
The hosts are a lovely couple that always have time to say morning if passing by. We stayed for a couple of weeks and the site felt safe. As you are on the common the natural beauty is on your door step.
