Vale of the White Horse in the sun

The site is in a large, level, open, south facing grass field with a line of trees on the north boundary. The upper reaches of the river Avon flow around the site. There are several footpath walks from the site with plenty of opportunity for spotting flora and fauna. Charlton St. Peter is a pleasant hamlet and the nearest village is Rushall (15 min walk) from where I believe there is a bus route. The nearest road is 1/2 mile away and the site is very peaceful and tranquil. We received a very friendly welcome and will certainly return for a peaceful and relaxing break.
