Mixed feelings

The owner rang to see when we were arriving so that he was there to greet us as he does not live on site. There is no electric, which I had not noted, but the owner assured us that lots of motorhomers like to have a less expensive site and no electric! It was very wet when we visited so the field not usable, we were on a hard standing but the approach gravel was a bit narrow so manoeuvring was difficult. It was Easter Monday (BH) but the pub was closed as was Chastleton House as both are usually closed Monday and Tuesday. Our water pump had stopped working so we only stayed one night so didn't get to check if buses run to Moreton and Chipping Norton.

Yes, we might well choose a non electric site.
