Mr Allen was very welcoming on arrival and checking that we were ok during our three day stay. Wonderfully kept site with beautiful grass, many water points and tidy facilities. We enjoyed watching the house martins and a pair of buzzards overhead. There are many footpaths and quiet lanes for cycling available from the site. We enjoyed a circular cycle to Diddly Squat farm and Chipping Norton, as well as a walk to Charleston House and beyond. Mr Allen is very knowledgeable about the local area. There is no electricity, which didn’t bother us, and the nearest main road quietens overnight.
