Ideal to explore North and South Devon

A most enjoyable stay. Everything we needed. Great value. Peaceful location. Lovely family who checked in with us to ensure all was ok. Recommended as central to Devon and access to both the north and south coasts.

Beautiful place in Devon

We stayed here March 2023, It was tricky to find, but hidden away up a farm track, well worth it when you get there, 2 hard standing pitches, 1 of them sloped, the rest is grass. The owner so helpful, as we had a problem with our electrics and came and helped us out. had to pay cash, didn't have enough on us so did online payment when we got home. great place for bird watching and the stars at night are fantastic! it is a bit hilly in places as you would expect in mid Devon, the toilet block was fine and there was hot water, but didn't use the shower. nice place.

Beautiful CL

Beautiful views from this site and an easy drive from the main road. Woodland on both sides of the site with beautiful bluebell walks, also a nice walk across the fields to the nearest village. Site owners very welcoming and helpful and pointed us to the best pubs for meals. A slightly sloping site so levelling blocks a good idea. Only one criticism, no water tap next to the chemical waste empty. Would stay again.

The perfect CL

Stayed here a few times now. I am writing this review hesitantly because I don't want to share our love of this place in case it becomes very popular but at the same time I feel it's only fair to the owners and potential visitors. This really is a little gem. Situated on a farm in mid Devon the site has great views to the west across the valley. At the same time it is sheltered and benefits from afternoon and evening sun  when the weather permits. The owners are friendly and the facilities more than adequate situated in a nearby barn. Woody the farm dog is a real character and loved playing with our Beagle. There are local woodland walks on the farm with all the wildlife you would expect to see in this very rural area. All in all the perfect CL if you like a rural location with peace and quiet.....ENJOY

Quiet, friendly site.

This is a very quiet site, situated right next to 60 acres of woods, bear this in mind if you're a light sleeper and the sound of owls disturb you, we found it it quite soporific as we drifted off to sleep. Entrance on to the site is up a long drive way up a moderate hill, care is needed to negotiate the gate if you have a long outfit, nothing dramatic though and there is plenty of room to swing through the gate. On arrival we were met by the friendly owner who showed us where all the facilities were, water tap is on the site, waste is a short two minute walk away The site is sloping and you will need levelling blocks, but is well drained so even with a weeks worth of rain we still managed to pull off with out incident. A nice site for exploring the surrounding countryside, we will return. Happy
