Good value site

Contacted owner Liz by email for bookings who was prompt with answering and friendly. Good value for £14 including hook-up as most sites nearby were charging mostly £20 per night. Access to site is good, level flat road entrance via horse paddocks. Size of pitches were very large you could park where you like which is good as the field is massive. You are also left to alone which we like. The toilet block was a single toilet and another toilet with a shower cubicle. The shower looked OK but unfortunately it was lacking a bit of TLC, could have done with a good clean etc, not always helped by users leaving it dirty for the next user, not always the sites fault. The wooden cabins where they are situated needed a bit of doing up. Didn't bother us as we always use our on-board facilities. It also looked like they had shut off the payment meter for the showers and can only assume they are now free. The access for walks is excellent as there is a public footpath right through the farm.  Good local pubs which were all nice. Not sure why every review mentioned the peace and tranquillity as it is on the flight path of Gatwick airport which woke us early in the morning and lasted most of the day. When the planes are not overhead it is quiet and tranquil. Overall a good site but probably wouldn't return for the only reason being the noise of the planes.
