Just returned from a 4 night stay on this site, and will definitely return. The paddocks and horses are lovely, access to the site is easy and clearly marked. Having a toilet and shower is a bonus on a CL. The bin area is spotless and bins emptied every day. There is plenty of space to park and the site is not at all crowded. Some have commented on the lack of welcome, as far as we are concerned, we don't expect CL owners to be on the lookout for us, so long as there are clear instructions on where to park and how to pay! In this case there are clear instructions in the handbook of what to do and the CL area is well sign posted, instructions are on the toilet/shower door of how to pay the owner and this suits us perfectly. Liz the owner is very nice and friendly. I had to rate this site highly for peace and quiet, however there are still limited flights from Gatwick, we could hear some planes, but it wasn't a problem. The site is close to a number of NT properties and close to the Surrey Hills. I have just one small criticism of the site and that is regarding the toilet and shower doors, they are very difficult to close and lock, maybe could do with a bit of a plane as the wood appears to have swollen! However this is not enough for me to rate it at less than 5 stars. Overall a lovely site, really enjoyed our stay here.
