Peace
We arrived last autumn the day after the apples had been picked so missed the sight of laden apples trees but if you look carefully before you pitch, you can achieve a wonderful view down through the apple trees to the reservoir. This is a very simple but peaceful site with only the sound of owls and geese to spoil the silence. The pitches are situated at the top end of an orchard off a dead end lane. There is a lovely walk down through the orchards to the reservoir but it’s uphill all the way back! You can also cycle all the way round the reservoir from the CL. There are some typical Kent villages nearby and NT properties to visit.

We just wanted to let you know for your future reference that the orchard is no longer there, but there are still of course fantastic views out towards the reservoir and the site is set in a very beautiful location.
