As others have said this is little haven of peace and quiet well away from any traffic other than to the farm. Wonderful views from the site and a walk down to the Bewl Water. Although not much to visit close to the site within twenty five miles radius you have seven or eight NT properties, picturesque Rye and Tunbridge Wells, Battle and Hastings. The site is a rectangular strip with a hard track along the top so you only tow over grass on your own pitch and there are generous sized pitches. In front is a field which may contain a few sheep and in the next field is the apple orchard. The owner tells you to pitch up and she will come and visit and she does. Never obtrusive she is at at the same time welcoming and friendly.
