Idyllic

This lovely site incorporates a long strip of very pretty field, all relatively flat (very slight unproblematic slope on some pitches)... The advantage of this is that all five pitches have a similar aspect and very lovely view, meaning you are not disappointed whichever you end up with on arrival. I would surmise that soil drainage would also be good due to the adjacent sloping sheep field, meaning less chance of a muddy stay even in wet weather. The site is the quietest I have stayed. You will not hear a car, and it does seem a good location to stay as you rarely hear planes due to the Heathrow flight paths endemic to the area. The owner is never intrusive, but very helpful indeed, and she will look after you in terms of ensuring other caravaners are not intrusive on your space (which is pretty large anyway it has to be said). I would suggest trying their delicious Apple juice from the farm, which is delivered right to your caravan. There are small supermarkets and pubs in nearby Wadhurst, and there is a very clearly signpost field walk that takes you into the surrounding beauty and into that town from Wards Lane itself. Superb walkers location in my favourite part of my favourite county. Everything that an electric supplied cl can provide can be found here to the best possible convenience and quality. I really have thought of criticism, but can find none.
