memories for generations in the making

Have been caravaning here since I was a small child with my parents, and we are now caravaning here with our children. Situated on a working farm the touring field overlooks Bewl water, and is about a 15 minute walk from the farm to the waters edge and nature reserve with hide.  The site benefits from the recently added EHU and levelling blocks are a must as parts of the field are very slightly slopping in places. Chessons is ideally located for visiting the numerous national trust properties locally, Scotney castle, Bodiam castle and Batemans to name just a few, as well as Bewl water visitors centre and Bedgebury Pinetum and forest with go ape just a 10 minute drive away.  If you're wanting peace and quiet, with plenty to do you won't be disappointed! We love it.
