Went for what we hoped was a quiet weekend. Could not go on the CL because they were building a new shower block. Ended up on a hard standing race track for fiishernen's cars and tractors. The main road was extremely noisy. There was a fishing contest on so cars were coming in very early in the morning and the lakes were out of bounds. Tractors were very noisy up and down . Be warned folks This is a fishing venue and nothing more. The owner seems only interested in the fishing. He even stopped us taking our little dog (on a lead as always) around the lakes for a walk after the competition had finished. It is over priced at £20 a night and not worth a penny of it. Far nicer CLs in the area
