Peace & Tranquility

Stayed at this CL for first in July 2014, it is in a beautiful and tranquil setting with rolling hills, lots of nature and no buildings to be seen in the views. Owner is very friendly and helpful. The site can be considered to have two areas, 2 pitches on the left as you arrive and 3 more to the right up a short but reasonably steep hill which could be difficult in wet conditions for non 4X4s. Levelling blocks are definitely required. Water /waste is at site entrance so a short walk up & down the hill for those on the RH side but this was no problem for us. We stayed on RH side up hill (in a very secluded pitch through the gap in the hedge) and we got a good TV signal but no mobile phone (O2) which wasn't a bad thing! There is a beautiful walk to Letheringsett Kings Head pub which takes you around a field set to grass, through leafy country lane then across a road and on a footpath along the wall inside in a country estate (Bayfield Park) with lake (River Galven) and red poll cattle grazing peacefully, there is a short section along the road after reaching Home Farm.Duration is about 45 mins each way but pub beer & food is very good! We absolutely loved our stay here, easy distance from N.Norfolk villages / towns / attractions it's one to keep note of and we will definitely return :-)
