we have just stayed for a week on this beautiful site and survived the mini beast from the east.it is easy to find just follow the instructions in book or online not satnav. We were welcomed by Ian on arrival although our name and pitch number were easily visible as we approached.Good dog walks from site and a dog exercise area. The site was well kept and a special mention should be said about the warmth of the toilet and shower block during this exceptionally cold spell which was especially welcoming after a day walking in which could only be subscribed as arctic conditions. The wildlife was in abundance we saw Barn owls hunt most nights sat in our van and while out and about we saw deer,red kite,buzzards,kestrels,pheasants,partridge and not forgetting the beautiful sheep which are housed in the adjoining paddock.
