Great little site

Overall this is a great little site .. 2 fields .. 1 for caravan club members. free wifi. There is a fairly new toilet block, with 1 toilet and 1 disabled toilet with shower in both sides. There is 1 wash basin with mirror. On the down side .. the toilets were no where near clean enough.. not covid standards.. We tried to keep clear of them . Nice views over the village and fields to mountains. No dog walk. Quiet and relaxing.

Brilliant site

This is a brilliant CL, with excellent friendly owners. john is round and about and incredibly welcoming. We have been several times and the addition of a new toilet block and free wifi are welcome, and will continue to use. just be careful how you approach, and follow instructions as you will otherwise get stuck with the turn if you approach over the bridge. if you do drive up to the school and use their turning bay. My only problem is that in our full week stop, the toilet block wasn't cleaned once. We currently have a CoVid outbreak and that isn't good enough. clearly some over the site users weren't capable of cleaning after themselves too - the owners can't be blamed for that. Folks this is a site and doesn't need much more to make it perfect

Cracking site

Lovely well cared for site. The best facilities I have seen on a CL site including washing machine freezer and free wi-fi. The owner John could not be more welcoming and helpful. Bordered by a babbling river one side and a field full of sheep the other.

beautiful little gem

We stayed here for a week during as it was central to us climbing Snowden, visiting Caenarfen etc and after reading the reviews, I was worried about there being loads of vans. The lovely lady that lives there and runs the site with her husband, told me that they have a CL site which runs parallel to a beautiful stream which is for exclusive CAMC members only. She does have a field further back, behind the toilet block, which has been allowed by the council for 8 caravans.... I saw no problem with this as she kept the toilets, laundry room & showers very well cleaned. We were on grass which had gravel laid on the top which kept the soil drained well. We had beautiful views of the mountains in the distance and the weather was good the first two days that my hubby & son went of up Snowden, whilst I put up our little porch awning and enjoyed the views. I would definitely return...also there seems to be an error in finding the CL when searching on the Club website.

Lovely cl

This is a lovely cl site with friendly and helpful owners. It has 2 camp fields , one is the 5 van cl site with an adjacent separate commercial site both with the use of a fantastic new toilet and shower block facilities.

Gross overbooking

Pre booked site. Arrived Sunday 5 vans, Monday 4 vans, TUESDAY 8 vans. There are 3 EHU double bollards (6hookups in total). When we arrived back on site one EHU had a 3 way adaptor on one socket. Owners must have been aware they had more than 5 vans due that night! Also suggests this is a common occurrence. Beware if you go in summer you may not have such a pleasant and peaceful stay. Your electrics could be tripped by overloading.

Over looking Snowdon

This site is lovely, easy to find from owners directions, near to main road. A warm welcome on arrival from the owner who gave us site information and local info. A very well presented tidy site. A great base for visiting Snowdonia, Anglesey and North Wales. We will return thank you.

A perfect CL

Just returned after 3 days. Access is excellent. The site is a level mowed grass field firm underneath (There is one dedicated hard standing). EHU are generously spaced allowing plenty of room for individual units. Has a tap. waste disposal and chem emptying point. Local buses adjacent ,full service 500 yds in village. Prices shown in book. Warm welcome and information. Nothing more you would want from a CL

Amazing area to visit August 6-10th 2014 Touring Caravan

Lovely welcome by the owners, nothing was too much trouble and very helpful with advice, pitch was level with good services.   Only 10 mins away from mountain railway or Caenarfon.   We travelled on local buses from Caenarfon to Banger, Conwy and LLandudno,  would recommend visiting these areas to.  Weather was good for us to go up the mountain, but please check weather before you purchase your ticket as it's expensive and there's no refunds given for bad weather (it can been nice at the station, but top of mountain can be quiet poor visibility) well worth a visit if it's a nice day because the views at the top of the mountain are amazingHappy.   No bad comments as to this CL site, we would recommend you stay here.
