Peaceful Weekend

We booked this CL for the weekend before the majority of sites open due to the weather forecast and it was our first visit to a certificated site. We found it to be a very peaceful and quiet location some way off the beaten track. The site was clean and tidy and the farmer was very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Pleasant a peaceful CL

We've been to this CL many times and found it quiet and peaceful with good facilities. The large hard standing is popular and particularly good for out of season touring. The grass is on a slope but if you park rear on between the power points it's not a problem. We've come to know the site owners well and they are very friendly and helpful. We found no problem with mobile phone reception. There is a good shop and a post office nearby in Cowfold and it's not far from Brighton. We'll be back and we can highly recommend this site.

Easter 2013 Copperfirld Farm

Easter 2013 A large grass site let down by the hard standing which my wife described as a crowded lay-by, the site is exposed surrounded by open fields, to the south and west. TV reception is 5 out of 10 depending of which relay mast you point at, we used one to the south. Mobile Phone, reception 4 out of 10. Fresh water and gray water disposal not covenant to MH unless on the pitch next to it, which then blocks access to other MH. Not a site we would use again, but is in the center of West Sussex, which we came to explore.

Peaceful CL

A lovely quiet CL with peaceful views over the surrounding fields. We stayed on the hardstanding at the entrance as it was very wet, there's just room for 4 vans on the hard area. Just pitch up and the owner will call in on his way up or down his driveway. The surrounding lanes are good for cycling and it's not far to the Downs Link path at Copsale, just look out for the large potholes in Newells Lane!

Peace, quiet and bulls

Lovely place to stay in a field next to some bulls (which are nice to sit and watch especially when the baby ones start playing), very quite and relaxing leveling blocks required around 3 hard standing if the weather is wet as field can get muddy also a torch is handy if you plan to go for a stroll in the evening as site is in a country lane. Lots of nice walks along public footpaths for our dog, just turn left outside of site and walk up the road until you get to cottage and then its a left this takes you through a lovely pine forest. Local shop is around a five minute drive or a large supermarket about 20mins away in Horsham. Tv reception ok once you work out which way to point the aerial! Nice owners just give them a call once you are settled and the farmer will pop down and collect the money.
