Our first CL - Superb

The booking process is super simple and all the information you need is either sent by email in advance or available on the web site. The site itself is beautifully maintained with large level pitches at one side of a large field and views over rolling countryside. Modern electrics, recycling facilities, lots of hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial sprays at all facilities. Poo bag dispensers in case you have empty pockets on the field. We had Fish and Chips from the village chippy and they were excellent. Didn't get chance to visit the local pubs but will definitely give that a go next time. We also didn't get chance to try the food that you can order on site but the bacon butties and afternoon tea looked fab. We have a dog and he loved the local walks across the farmers fields and pottering around on the site. We didn't get to chat to Andy and Maggie other than a quick 'Hello' in the mornings. I get the impression that they leave you alone to enjoy the peace and quiet but are available if needed - just as we like it. Our power cable was slightly too short to reach the correct power post but a quick text to Andy confirmed that this wouldn't be a problem and we could use the slightly closer one as pitch 5 wasn't in use until the day we left. Overall we had a great couple of days here and will definitely go back. If the other CL's we choose to visit are anywhere near as good as this one we'll be very happy.
