Lovely find, I can only reiterate previous review, very friendly owners, easy access road, open fields to rear of site, the pitches are long, wide, hard standings with generous strip of grass between each pitch. Railway line hardly noticeable seems to be freight quite intermittent not busy passenger line. FREE WIFI. Clean WC with cold water. The seasonal pitches adjacent are only occasionally in use and far enough away to be of no intrusion. 10AMP EHU, £14pn less than 7 days, £12pn 7 days and longer incl EHU & awning, deposit required when booking of £24 (2 nights) because people have let owner down with late cancellations in the past. Loads of places to visit very close by, Morpeth only 5miles away for shopping, Woodhorn Colliery Museum visit it via footpath from Woodhorn QEII Country park (free). Amble (delicious fish & chips), Cramlington - Northumberlandia lady, Newbiggin by sea, Whitley Bay, Cresswell Beach, Druridge Bay with water sports, Alnwick Castle & Garden (Harry Potter & Downton Abbet fame) National Trust properties, Seaton Delaval Hall, Wallington House, Cragside. to name but a few. Can't say anymore except we will be back and recommend this site to our friends.
