Very peaceful, great location!
Very large field but if you want maximum sun, pitch near the canal or along side the track. The canal is not visible from the field as it is cut low but the downs can be seen to the North east.
It is a lovely one and a half hour walk along the canal into Devizes which is a delightful market town with a brewery which offers interesting tours. The 49 bus stops by the pub in the village which is a ten minute walk through the church yard to the CL. Plenty of interesting places to visit nearby.
