Firstly, this is a brilliant site and Roger seems like a top guy. Yes the lane is narrow, but no harm done. Stock up with provisions if that’s your thing. The coastal walking is SUPERB but is up and down cliff stuff so be prepared for a bit of effort. New Quay round trip walk very doable. Didn’t get to walk south but suspect that just as good. Adders, dolphins, foxes etc…if you like wildlife. There is an alternative way to the coast path by taking the lane to the church and then go left through a field and then right to follow a track to a cottage where there’s a gate through to the coast path. Alternatively the road is no bother (10 mins down, 20 back up!!) Kayaking from Cwm Tydu beach looks good. Swimming also, but suspect high tide is easier as a bit bouldery at low tide. Anyway, loved this place (admittedly it was 22degC and full sun, but would be happy here in any weather).
