Lovely site, handy for the ferry

This is a very tidy, well-maintained CL site, with lots of room for space between pitches, and laid out so you don't even see most of the other (2 or 3 out of 5). Very quite, easy to access, tidy toilet.  We stayed at a different CL site on our way to the Harwich ferry because it was a little closer, but it had no power (which our leisure battery didn't cope with), long grass, road noise, and a very basic toilet. From now on we will instead stay at this CL, Dairy Farm, as it is so much better!

Handy for the Harwich ferry

It's neatly maintained, and has more than enough space for 5 caravans, with electric points well spaced around the field. The directions to find it are clear, and quickness of access for an early morning Harwich ferry (what we really wanted) is a plus, and there is bed and breakfast accommodation in the farmhouse for anyone travelling that way without a caravan. Knowing we'd be leaving early we went to the house to pay the night before - the camp site is certainly run with gentlemanly trust of its visitors. We found it thoroughly satisfactory for an overnight, but wouldn't stay for longer than that - we prefer smarter toilet/washing facilities than the basics this site provides (in an oldish outhouse) - but we fully understand that other Club members with more luxurious caravans than ours are happy to use their own facilities.
