Shame about the road !

A lovely small well kept site and very pleasant owner, the position next to the road makes it impossible to relax as cars and lorries zoom past well over the speed limit at all hours .This makes it very dangerous to walk the dogs as there is no pavement, we tried it twice as the farmer has stopped letting you exercise your dogs on his ajoining land ,this was a real issue for us as we had to take them out in the car each time .

What a find!

We called in on the off chance whilst contemplating a visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at the nearby Airbase and were fortunate to get a pitch so we stayed for the night. Simon and Michelle were so helpful with where to go and what to do. Lovely site and facilities, Excellent hosts. When the planes stop flying (early evening) this is a peaceful location. We shall use this site again.

Three nights

We originally booked for two nights on this site but extended our stay by an extra night as we loved it. Michelle and her husband who own the site are brilliant they are very welcoming and very helpful. It was a very excellent three days especially with the added bonus of being so close to the air base we got to see a lot of plane activity including the Lancaster, spit fire and hurricane. We had our dog with us and there was a dog walk which was perfect for him, he was made very welcome. We will definitely be booking to go again. Thank you Michelle for a very good stay hope to see you again soon, from Peter, Lisa and Blake the over grown labĀ

Super Hosts

Stayed at Dakota Park for 8 days over the late summer bank holiday, Michelle and Simon are super hosts, Michelle expressed concern about the proximity of the road for noise that others had mentioned in reviews but it did not even encroach into our consciousness The road pales into insignifigance compared to the RAF Typhoons and the thrill of the BBFM Lancaster display testing directly overhead, If you want tranquillity this is not the site for you if you are into aviation don't miss it! This is a very new CL but as CL's go for value it is at the top of my list. A lot of dedication and hard work has gone into this one.

2 day visit

Well What a nice Cl. Super welcome from Michelle on arrival.Very recent site for this year 2016. It is obvious that a lot of work and money has been spent here. The trees and newly planted flowers and shrubs have yet to grow. The Owners are very concerned for the appearance of the site, with constant improvement in mind. As stated by others it is Ideal for Aircraft Spotters So don't expect total silence on weekdays whilst the Typhoons are around. Lincolnshire has many interesting places and local Pubs to visit. Will we return? Yes certainly.

BRILLIANT CL

We have just spent a great weekend at Dakota Park. Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely smile from Michelle the owner and made to feel very welcome. Everything was pointed out to us that we needed to know. We like aviation so being opposite RAF Coningsby makes it great for us. The site is in its infancy, but credit to the owners they have pulled out all the stops to create a wonderful site. As it is alongside a busy main road its not for everyone, but don't let a bit of traffic noise spoil what is a very nice cl! Its a great base for exploring what Lincolnshire has to offer. So , to summarise, we shall return very soon. I applaud Michelle for all the hard work in creating a lovely cl. THANKYOU

A great new site with friendly owners

A very warm & friendly welcome on arrival from Michelle & Simon. Easy access & a well drained level site. Very clean water & waste points. Good security & 16 amp hook ups. A lot of thought & hard work has gone in to this site, which has only been open since Feb. Nature has still got to take her course so please bear this in mind. I must stress that this didn't cause us any problems. This isn't a peaceful site due to being in close proximity to RAF Coningsby. This was the main reason for us booking so it didn't worry us in the slightest. We were lucky enough to have the Typhoon Display pilot practising overhead. This is an ideal base for any aviation enthusiast. We had a lovely relaxing time here & will happily be returning.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

I've stayed on many cl sites over the last 6 years and never had such an outstanding welcome. Shell and Simon certainly know how to make you feel appreciated. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the site its self is beautifully laid out. As an amateur plane watcher this site is ideal so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment. Well done Shell and Simon best wishes Dako
